Step-by-step instructions for reflashing a unit over USB — full erase, then bootloader, partition table, boot record, the same firmware image into both application slots, and the same web bundle into both web areas (factory_fs and prod_fs), in one pass. There is no separate bench-update step.

This is the recovery path for a unit that cannot be updated over the air (for example, one shipped without an OTA partition and stuck on the Factory image).
